Signs you need drivetrain & exhaust
- Vibration that grows with speed
- Clicking when turning (CV axles)
- Exhaust drone, rattle, or sulfur smell
- Failed emissions test
Getting the right fit
Axle length and spline count depend on your drivetrain, and catalytic converters must match your vehicle's emissions certification — California-emissions vehicles need CARB-compliant units. We check your VIN so the part is legal and correct for your state.

Drivetrain & Exhaust buying guide
CV axles, driveshafts and U-joints
Front-drive and all-wheel-drive vehicles use CV axles, sold new or remanufactured per side and by transmission type. Rear-drive trucks and SUVs use a driveshaft with U-joints and, on longer wheelbases, a carrier bearing. Clicking on turns means a CV joint; vibration that grows with speed points to the driveshaft.
Catalytic converters and emissions rules
Converters are sold per bank and by emissions certification. Vehicles registered in California and other CARB states must use a CARB-certified converter with the right executive order number; a federal unit will fail inspection. Direct-fit converters bolt in; universal units need welding.
Transfer cases, differentials and mounts
Transfer cases and rear differentials are sourced as quality used or remanufactured assemblies matched to the axle ratio on the door-jamb label. Transmission mounts, shift cables and control modules are common fixes for harsh shifts and clunks that owners assume are the transmission itself.
