Batteries & Electrical for Every Make & Model
We stock and source batteries & electrical in both OEM and quality aftermarket options. Tell us your vehicle — Year/Make/Model or VIN — and a parts specialist confirms exact fitment, checks stock, and quotes your price before anything ships.
Signs you need batteries & electrical
- Slow cranking or repeated jump-starts
- Dim headlights at idle
- Battery or charging-system warning light
- Electronics resetting or flickering
Getting the right fit
Batteries must match your vehicle's group size, cold-cranking amps, and terminal layout, and alternator output varies by engine and installed options. Give us your VIN and we match the spec your charging system was designed for.
Batteries & Electrical we're asked for most
From the quote requests our specialists handle, these are the batteries & electrical customers call about most often:
- Alternators
- Starters
- Fuse boxes & relay modules
- ABS modules
- Engine, transmission and body control modules
- Window & master switches
- Ignition lock cylinders & switches
- Instrument clusters
- Speed & pressure sensors
- Wiring harnesses
Frequently ordered for: Chevrolet Silverado, GMC Sierra & Yukon, Ram 1500, Honda Accord, Buick LaCrosse, Jeep Wrangler. Older vehicles are welcome — a large share of these requests are for models from the 1990s and 2000s.
Batteries & Electrical buying guide
Alternators and starters: new, remanufactured, or used
Remanufactured alternators and starters are the most common replacement and carry a warranty; new units cost more and matter mainly on late-model vehicles with computer-controlled charging. Amperage rating and pulley type must match the original, and vehicles with heavy-duty or dual alternators need the correct option-code unit.
Batteries: group size, AGM and start-stop
The group size sets the case dimensions and terminal layout; cold-cranking amps should meet or exceed the factory rating. Vehicles with auto start-stop or many electronics need an AGM battery, and swapping in a flooded battery shortens its life. Some vehicles register the new battery with the body module after replacement.
Modules, switches and sensors
Fuse boxes, body control modules, ABS modules and engine computers are sold by exact part number and often by VIN, and some need programming. Window switches, ignition switches, lock cylinders and speed or pressure sensors are usually plug-and-play. Give us the number stamped on the old part when you can — it removes the guesswork.
Batteries & Electrical FAQ
A battery that dies overnight but charges fine points to the battery or a drain; dimming lights with the engine running, a charging warning, or a battery that keeps dying after replacement points to the alternator. Most parts stores test both for free, and a specialist can walk you through it by phone.
Sometimes. Older vehicles accept a matching part-number module directly; newer ones need the module programmed to the VIN. We check whether your year and make needs programming before we quote a used unit.
Yes, but we also need the engine and the option code, because the same engine can ship with several outputs and pulley designs. The rating is stamped on the old alternator's case or tag.
