A large share of our orders are for vehicles the big online catalogs handle badly: pre-2000 cars and trucks, low-volume models, and parts that were discontinued years ago. Some recent examples, all delivered:

How we find what the catalogs cannot
- Part numbers and casting numbers. The number stamped or cast into the old part is the fastest route to the right replacement, and it lets us find superseded numbers the catalogs no longer list.
- Engine and body codes. Classic cars often left the factory with more than one engine per year. The fifth VIN digit, the engine code, or the cowl tag settles which one you have.
- Photos of the old part. When there is no number, a clear photo of both sides plus a tape measure lets a recycler match it visually.
- Reproduction, NOS and used. We check reproduction suppliers, new-old-stock dealers and salvage recyclers, then tell you which one we found and what it costs.
What to have ready when you call
- Year, make and model, plus the engine size if you know it. The VIN helps on anything 1981 or newer.
- Any number on the old part, or a photo of it.
- Anything that has been changed on the car since it was built.

Hard-to-find parts FAQ
We have sourced parts for vehicles back to the 1940s. Mechanical and cooling parts for 1960s and 1970s American cars are the most common requests, followed by 1980s and 1990s trucks and the electronics on 2000s vehicles that dealers no longer stock.
Discontinued by the manufacturer does not mean unavailable. We check reproduction makers, new-old-stock inventories and recyclers. If nothing exists, we say so rather than sell you something that does not fit.
No. A specialist searches, quotes if we find it, and you decide. There is no fee for looking.
Yes, but tell us what has been changed — a swapped engine, converted front disc brakes, an aftermarket radiator — so we match the part to the car as it is now, not as it was built.
