- Honda Engine, Fuel & IgnitionThe 1.5-liter turbo (2016+) and 2.0-liter engines use iridium plugs at a tight factory gap and coil-on-plug ignition; the 2.4-liter K-series before them is also coil-on-plug and uses a timing chain, not a belt.
- Honda Body & LightingCivic (2016+) and Accord (2018+) use LED headlamps on upper trims and halogen on lower trims; the housings, plugs, and hoods' cut lines are not interchangeable between the two.
- Honda Batteries & ElectricalCivic, Fit, and HR-V typically take a compact Group 51R battery, while Accord, CR-V, Pilot, and Odyssey usually use a larger group with the terminals reversed — group size and terminal orientation both have to match the tray and cables.
- Honda Suspension & SteeringThe rear bushing on the front lower control arm (the 'compliance bushing') is a known clunk source on Accord, Civic, and CR-V; most shops replace the complete arm rather than pressing a bushing.
- Honda Brake PartsMany 2016-and-newer Civic, Accord, and CR-V models use an electronic parking brake, so their rear calipers are not interchangeable with earlier cable-brake versions and rear pad service needs the EPB put in service mode.
