Have a Part Number? We'll Quote It

Give a specialist the OEM or aftermarket number and we quote that exact part or a cross-referenced equivalent, new, remanufactured or used.

Why a part number is the fastest way to order

Many of the orders we take every week arrive with a part number, and they are the quickest quotes we do. The number removes the trim, engine and build-date questions, so the specialist can go straight to price and availability. It is also the best way to source used modules and drivetrain parts, which recyclers list by OEM number.

Where to find the number

  • On the old part. Most OEM parts carry the number stamped, cast or on a sticker. Modules and sensors almost always do; it is the number that matters, not the one printed on the box.
  • On a dealer quote or repair estimate. Dealers and shops list the OEM number on the estimate. Bring that number to us for a second price.
  • In the service manual or a VIN-based catalog. Factory manuals and dealer parts catalogs list numbers by VIN, including the supersessions when a number has been replaced.
  • On an aftermarket box you have bought before. Aftermarket numbers cross-reference to OEM numbers, and we can go either direction.

Send it two ways

Part number FAQ

Manufacturers replace numbers when a part is revised. We check the supersession chain and quote the current number, or the original if a recycler has it and you want the exact part.

Yes. Give us either number and we quote both the original and quality aftermarket options where they exist, so you can choose on price and warranty.

It helps. A part number tells us the part; the VIN confirms it belongs on your vehicle and catches the cases where a number was used across several builds that are not interchangeable.

Yes. Part numbers are the best way to source used modules, drivetrain parts and body parts, because recyclers list their inventory by OEM number.
