Filters & Fluids for Every Make & Model
We stock and source filters & fluids in both OEM and quality aftermarket options. Tell us your vehicle — Year/Make/Model or VIN — and a parts specialist confirms exact fitment, checks stock, and quotes your price before anything ships.
Signs you need filters & fluids
- Past the mileage on your service schedule
- Reduced fuel economy or sluggish throttle
- Musty smell from the cabin vents
- Dark, gritty oil on the dipstick
Getting the right fit
Oil filters differ in thread size and bypass-valve rating, and every engine has a specified oil viscosity and coolant type. We supply the filter and fluid spec your engine calls for, not a one-size-fits-all substitute.
Filters & Fluids we're asked for most
From the quote requests our specialists handle, these are the filters & fluids customers call about most often:
- Fuel filters
- Engine air filters
- Oil filter housings & adapters
- Cabin air filters
- Transmission filter kits
- Factory-spec coolant & ATF
Frequently ordered for: Mercedes-Benz SLK, Volkswagen Passat, Toyota Prius, Ram 2500 & 3500. Older vehicles are welcome — a large share of these requests are for models from the 1990s and 2000s.
Filters & Fluids buying guide
Engine oil and oil filters
Use the viscosity and specification on the oil cap or in the owner's manual — dexos for GM, MB or VW approvals for European engines, 0W-20 on most late-model Japanese engines. Cartridge and spin-on filters are not interchangeable, and some engines need a specific cap or O-ring with the filter.
Transmission, coolant and brake fluid
Automatic transmission fluid is brand- and generation-specific: DEXRON VI, MERCON LV, Toyota WS, ATF+4 and ZF fluids are not substitutes for one another. Coolant is color-coded by chemistry, and mixing formulas causes gel and corrosion. Brake fluid should match the DOT rating on the reservoir cap.
Air, cabin and fuel filters
Engine air filters are simple to match by year and engine; cabin filters live behind the glovebox on most vehicles built after 2000, and some older models have none. Fuel filters are inline on older vehicles and part of the in-tank pump module on newer ones, and diesels use a separate filter with a water separator.
Filters & Fluids FAQ
Yes. Tell us the transmission or engine and we quote the specification the manufacturer calls for. For sealed transmissions, hybrids and European vehicles we will not substitute a universal fluid.
Yes — oil and filter, transmission filter kit and fluid, or coolant and thermostat can be quoted together. Tell us which service you are doing and the mileage.
Many cartridge-filter engines use a plastic housing cap with an O-ring that hardens and cracks, and cross-threading the cap is a common cause of leaks. The correct cap and seal are sold with or alongside the filter.
