Signs you need body & lighting
- Cracked, fogged, or moisture-filled light housings
- Broken or non-folding mirrors
- Wipers streaking or chattering
- Headlight aim off after an impact
Getting the right fit
Light housings change between halogen, HID, and LED versions of the same model, and often mid-generation with a facelift. We match your production date and lighting type so lenses and plugs line up exactly.

Body & Lighting buying guide
Headlights and tail lights: matching the type and the year
Headlamp assemblies are sold by lighting type — halogen, HID/xenon, LED — and by production date, because a mid-generation facelift changes the housing and the bumper around it. Adaptive or auto-leveling headlamps use a different assembly from fixed ones. LED tail lights are sealed units that are replaced, not repaired.
Mirrors, handles, regulators and latches
Mirror assemblies vary by heated, power-fold, memory, turn-signal, blind-spot and camera options; the glass alone is often available for a cracked lens. Exterior door handles, window regulators with motors, door latches and hood latches are among the most common orders on vehicles 10 to 20 years old.
Bumper covers, fenders, hoods and panels
Bumper covers are sold primed and unpainted, with or without fog-lamp and sensor openings, so the trim and option list matters. Fenders, hoods, grilles, rocker panels and cab corners are frequent orders for rust repair on trucks. Larger panels ship by freight; we quote shipping to your ZIP before you commit.
Body & Lighting FAQ
CAPA-certified and reputable aftermarket housings fit and perform well on most vehicles and cost far less. For HID, LED and adaptive units we often recommend OEM or quality used, since the electronics inside are vehicle-specific.
Most body parts ship primed for painting. Some mirror caps and handles are available color-matched by paint code, which is on the door-jamb label. Tell us the code and we check.
By freight or oversized parcel, depending on the part. Delivery is to a business address or curbside, and we include the shipping cost in the quote so there are no surprises.
