Dodge & Ram Engine, Fuel & Ignition

OEM and aftermarket engine, fuel and ignition parts for Ram 1500, Ram 2500, Ram 3500, Charger and every other Dodge & Ram sold in the USA. Fitment verified by VIN, shipped to all 50 states.

Dodge and Ram platforms stay in production for a long time — the Ram 1500 DS body ran from 2009 to 2018 and continued as the Classic beside the new DT truck, and the Charger and Challenger platform ran from 2006 through 2023 — so year, cab, engine and package matter more than the badge. Many of the Ram, Dakota and Grand Caravan parts we quote are for 2000s trucks and vans that are still on the road.

What’s different about Dodge & Ram engine, fuel and ignition parts

  • The 5.7 HEMI uses 16 spark plugs (two per cylinder) with coil packs that each serve two plugs, and the 2009+ Eagle-head engines use different plugs and coils than 2003–2008; the 6.4 HEMI in 2500/3500 and Scat Pack cars is its own engine code.
  • The 3.6 Pentastar V6 (2011+) uses coil-on-plug with long iridium plugs and had a well-documented left-bank cylinder head issue on 2011–2013 engines; the older 3.7 V6 and 4.7 V8 in Dakota, Durango and Ram use a different ignition layout entirely.
  • Cummins 5.9 and 6.7 diesels have no spark plugs — orders here are for injectors, the lift pump and injection pump, grid heater, and the EGR and turbo actuator on 2007.5+ 6.7 trucks, all sold by engine year.

What we need to quote your Dodge & Ram engine, fuel and ignition parts

  • Engine code or displacement (found on the emissions label under the hood)
  • Any stored trouble codes (P0300-series misfire codes tell us which cylinder)
  • Mileage, so we can recommend the service items due at the same time
  • Turbocharged or naturally aspirated — plug heat range and gap differ
